At Copper State Junk Removal & Hauling, we believe junk removal should do more than just clear out your space. Every job is a chance to help our neighbors, protect the environment, and give items a second life whenever possible. That’s why donation hauling is a key part of what we do.

When we load up your gently used items, we do our best to deliver them to local organizations that put them to good use. It's our way of helping Northern Arizona communities while keeping unnecessary waste out of the landfill.

Where Your Donated Items Go

What We Look for When Donating

Our goal is to ensure your unwanted items benefit someone else. We typically donate:

• Furniture that’s clean, sturdy, and in good condition (no rips, stains, or major damage)

• Working appliances and electronics

• Housewares, décor, and kitchen goods

• Books, toys, sports equipment, and tools

Tip: If you wouldn’t give it to a friend, it may not be a good fit for donation. When in doubt—ask us!

What Can’t be donated?

Not everything is suitable for donation, and that’s okay! We’ll still haul it and handle it responsibly. Typically, charities can’t accept:

• Broken or unsafe furniture

• Non-working appliances or electronics

• Items with significant damage, mold, or pest issues

• Mattresses that are stained or torn

• Hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, gas, etc.)

If your items don’t qualify for donation, don’t worry—we’ll explore recycling options whenever possible before considering disposal.

What Happens to Non-Donatable Items?

When donation isn’t an option, we do what we can to keep materials out of the landfill. For now, we focus on:

♻️ Metal recycling — Scrap metal goes to local recyclers, like Yavapai Metal Recycling.
♻️ Cardboard recycling — Clean, dry cardboard is diverted for recycling.

Our goal is to expand our sorting and recycling efforts in the future as we grow!
