We’re the Sapkos—Chino Valley locals, homeschool parents, Little League volunteers, and the family behind Copper State Junk Removal & Hauling. After 11 years in this community and nearly a decade in the trash industry, we saw a need for a reliable, honest junk removal service—and we knew we could fill it.

With over 25 years of business experience and a degree in business management, Joe Sapko set out to build more than just a company—he wanted to create a values-driven business rooted in service, integrity, and excellence. This isn’t a franchise. When you call us, you’re working directly with your neighbors.

Why we do what we do

We love this area and we’re deeply invested in it. We run a local homeschool co-op (Prescott Classical Academy), coach and volunteer with Little League, and are involved at Canyon Bible Church of Prescott. With five kids of our own, we understand the importance of family—and we bring that same care and dedication to every job.

We’re not just here to haul junk—we’re here to make a difference. After almost 10 years in the trash industry, we’ve become passionate about reducing landfill waste through recycling, repurposing, and donation whenever possible. If it can avoid the dump, we’ll make sure it does.
